Thought of the Day

"The time to win a fight is before it starts."
--Frederick W. Lewis

SO true. If you will walk away from a fight you will always be the better person(the winner); Whether anyone tells you or not. So many times we think we have to please everyone around us, but why is that we are our own person? This is because we want to fit in so bad with a certain crowd or we want to be like everyone else, but have you ever noticed that those who work for God are set apart than everyone else. They have very different qualities, traits, and backgrounds. I know it is hard to be the one to step down from a fight but just remember when you do you start to have different qualities, traits, and background.

"Don't bother to give God instructions; just report for duty!"
--Corrie Ten Boom

So many times we try to tell God what we are going to do and when we are going to do it but God already knows what we will be doing and the exact time. Stop telling God what you are going to do and let God tell you what to do. Today let God direct you down your path.

"When I hear someone sigh that "Life is Hard," I am always tempted to ask, "Compared to what?" --Sydney Harris
We have probably all said this at one time or another. Really if you think about it this quote is so true. We complain about life being hard but really there is nothing to compare it to. Sometimes we may even say I wish I had their life it would be so much easier but truth of the matter their life comes with the same test and trials as yours does. Life is what you make it; not what everyone else makes of theirs. So live your life to it's fullest and when you start to say life is hard think about what you are comparing it to.

Thought Of The Day

"Too many Christians want to reach the Promised Land without going through the wilderness."

This is so true. So many times we think we aren't suppose to go through test and trials because we are Christians, but so not true because we are Christians we will go through so much more. To reach the Promised Land we first have to go through the hard times. After going through the test and trials(wilderness) our physical body and our spiritual body will be so much stronger. So when you are being tested don't give up because it's just another building block to your character. Have a great day and week! :)
